I am a psych major, and I’m transferring into one of the schools listed this year (I’ve already been accepted into each). But, I am mostly torn between CSU and the UC system. I’ve read plenty of forums on here discussing that CSU is “better” for applied studies that it will be useful in a career immediately after undergraduate studies. However, UC is “best” for those seeking graduate school skills and so forth. Nevertheless, I am still contemplating a path towards a Ph.D. in Psychology or a Masters in Counseling. From those who may have already attended any of these schools for a non-STEM major, what school is suitable to explore both the applied and research facets of a major?
if you are contemplating a PhD, then attending a UC campus is a no-brainer. All three campuses are similar for Psych. Choose the one you like best.
