I think I may have posted this in the wrong place beforehand but these are my questions/concerns:

I'm currently a second year Psychology and Literature major at UC Santa Cruz hoping to transfer to UC Davis next fall. Does anyone know the possibility, process, rigorousness, or any other helpful information about the chances of the transfer being a success? My current GPA is 2.98, I've finished all my prerequisites for Lit and only have one more to go after Winter quarter for Psych. I don't know if this affects the application process in any way but I did only get a C+ in my Psych 1 class when I took it and currently am not associated with really any extracurricular's or community service although I am working a part time job.

With that, does any one know if when you transfer from UC to UC if they look as intensely at your current club involvement, sport involvement, community involvement, etc. as they did when first applying to UC's senior year of high school? If so, I think I may have kicked the bucket on this one.

I'm also very interested in UC Irvine and if anyone has any parallel information regarding that institution and my chances of being accepted as a transfer there as well that'd be awesome. When applying out of high school I did get into UCI and was wait listed for UCD but basically, I was a moron and didn't learn from sappy movies and did not "follow my heart." I don't know if originally being wait listed/accepted counts for anything during the transfer process but if anyone has information on that as well that'd be equally as awesome. All information/advice would be much appreciated.
