If I want to be a forensic psychologist should I major in psychology and minor in either cognitive science or government OR major in neuroscience and minor in psychology. I’m afraid I won’t find a good job with psychology
If you’re looking specifically towards forensic psychology, you could major in psychology and minor in criminal justice or criminology?
If you want to be a forensic psychologist, you should probably major in psychology - forensic psychologists usually have a PhD in clinical psychology, and they use much more psychology than they use neuroscience. Neuroscience wouldn’t be a bad major as long as you take a lot of classes in psychology, in order to prepare for a doctoral degree in the field.
