Psychology vs Anatomy?

Just want to get exposed to life sciences/biology a little more so I can narrow down my major choices. This is for my senior year and I can either take Anatomy and Physiology or Psychology and AP Psychology. Which is a better class overall?

I am a junior this year as well and am taking both classes this year. They are both great classes, it just depends on what you want to do and/or what you are more interested in. Physiology is a great class, especially if you want to do something in the medical field. There is a lot of information but if you study you will do well. Its also cool because you get to learn about how complex our body is (I don’t know about your school but at mine we get to dissect a mink the second semester, which i thought I would hate but its actually really interesting). Psychology is honestly easier of the two, even though it is an Ap class and physiology isn’t. If you are more interested in our brain and what memories and feelings and ideas make us, us…then this class is better for you. As far as difficulty level, psych is definitely easier because most if it is common sense and straight forward. Good Luck!

I just saw one of you other threads and if you want to become a neurologist then I suggest psychology. We only cover the brain for a unit in physiology, while the entire year is focused on the brain in psych. Plus, if you’ve already taken Ap bio its very similar information.

Not anymore. I changed my mind. Now I’m thinking about maybe wanting to go into either business or law but I’m still not 100% sure. I’m just trying to get a feel for what subjects I like and what I don’t so I can narrow my search.
