Hi
I am looking into physical therpay as my career choice. I have looked at several 4 year colleges but my parents want me to look at SUNY as well. Arer there any SUNy schools i can go to for PT or at least start and then transfer. Right now I like Ithaca College . Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Check out SUNY Cortland. It has a strong program, less than 1/2 the cost of Ithaca and, if you still decide to transfer to Ithaca, is only 25 miles from there.

stony brook also has PT

I Second Cortland—Also, Geneseo has a 3-3 program with SUNY Upstate medical for PT if you have the stats to get in

These would not require you transfer: [APTA | Home](http://www.apta.org/AM/Template.cfm?section=PT_Programs&template=/aptaapps/accreditedschools/acc_schools_map.cfm&process=3&type=PT#New York)

[SUNY: Program Search](http://www.suny.edu/student/search_programs/currfd_oas_main.cfm)

Would any of these SUNy schools be accepted of she wanted to transfer to Ithaca at some point?

what do you mean PTmajor?
