Pton's ED acceptance rate compared to other ivies..

<p>Guys, do you think Pton's ED decision accpetance rate
is pretty higher than that of other ivies?
I believe Pton's ED rate is the highest among
the so-called HYPSM..
So is it more of a advantage, especially for Pton, to apply early?</p>

<p>i think thats too simple and generic. don't most colleges like to fill up about HALF of their incoming class during EDs to increase yield?</p>

<p>i think it depends on how many ppl apply to each school in the Early round. well P'ton's early dec is binding, which would attract a lot of people to Stanford (SCEA rite) or MIT (EA), etc.</p>

<p>but i agree with pk12313...because princeton is ED, i dont think they get as many early applicants...if you go through the "HYPSM", you'll see that they're all SCEA or EA except for princeton...because of the fewer number of applicants, the acceptance % is obviously higher</p>
