Public colleges that give lots of cash to OOS kids

are there any public colleges that give lots of cash to OOS kids? it doesn't have to be a top public, i'm just wondering which ones do...

Certain scholarships at U of S Carolina and I think UNC also - give OOS kiddos in-state tuition - they are pretty competitive tho.

if you don't mind me asking, what's OOS?

OOS=Out Of State

University of Texas at Austin gives lots of money to OOS kids. I believe Texas A&M does as well.

University of Delaware. Half the kids are OOS and the top 25% receive merit aid with half and full rides not uncommon for the top 10%. The Honors Progarm student body (top 14%) has stats that are similar to PENN. Its on their web site. Our S was offered half tuition merit aid there but he wanted to be in an urban environment but I remember being pleasently surprised much lower OOS numbers so look at that piece when you are checking out school web sites.

I think PITT is generous with merit $ but have no idea how that relates to OOS status.

mant give a lot (some even full) if you are a national merit finalist.
