I have a 3.82 GPA , is Purdue a reach or target for me? I applied DS

Purdue, UCR, Michigan, UCB, etc etc, not including new grads, 180s. For new grads sometimes there is a small distinction of maybe 5-10k but again, it does not matter after a year. It’s where you live and what you do with your career. Also just an anecdote but the UCB was the worst out of that small sample size
Hopefully this isn’t too off topic, but are DS jobs comparable in salary to CS jobs or did I make a dumb choice picking DS as my preferred major?

3.97 UW, 4.3 W (high school does not weight honors)
If you’re instate Purdue would be a safety

Same to you! I haven’t looked much into the specific acceptances for each major, but i know is that Engineering is scary good, which means it’s gotta be one of the harder schools i applied to
