Purdue Engineering: what are my chances?

Hi, I am a rising senior from a large hs in
upstate ny.

gpa: 3.61/4.00
act: 28
class rank: 144/578
5 honors classes and 3 AP’s. Also involved in project lead the way classes which are
engineering classes that grant you credit to
RIT after passing the final exam, I have taken 5 of them.
EC’s: 4 years of varsity football, freshman bball, varsity track, rec sports, engineering camp at the university of alabama, coaching youth bball, project developer for a educating young
engineers club, part time job, and community
service.

Purdue is my dream school, any insight is
appreciated!!!

Purdue should be a Match/High Match for you.

Depends on major but won’t get into engineering. You can get into engineering schools like alabama and ole miss and many other but not the top ones. Besides it doesn’t matter where you go to school.

I disagree. I’m a current freshman in Purdue engineering. I had a 29 ACT, 3.8 gpa unweighted but had way worse extracurriculars than you and I was accepted early action. I’d say Purdue is a match to slightly high match for you
