Purdue Honor vs NC State for MolBio and Genetics

Hey all,
I am debating Purdue vs NC State right now. I have been accepted to Honors at Purdue but I have been waitlisted for the Scholars program at NC State (I think I have a decent chance at still getting in because my stats are really good and my essays were respectable, but I don’t want to depend on it). I want to do a double major in molecular biology and genetics, with the intent of eventually getting an MD/PhD. The cost is very little for each, with Purdue being slightly more expensive as it is out of state, but the difference is negligible. I like NC State’s campus a bit better, but I actually like Purdue’s weather better. My main question is this: would either college significantly hurt or improve my chances of getting into a good graduate program?
