Does anybody know if there are any “free/discounted” options to get to/from Purdue from the Indianapolis airport?
There is mention of Lafayette Limo and Reindeer Shuttle, but wanted to see if the university had any free/discounted shuttles for students as well.
Any OOS parents/students, please let me know what you take when going home…
Lafayette Limo and Reindeer Shuttle are definitely the most popular options. I have not heard of any free service being operated by Purdue.
That said, there is a lot of ride sharing going on. A ton of students live in the Indy and Chicago areas and it’s usually pretty easy for people to find rides.

The parent FB group also facilitates ride sharing all the time.
I’m not aware of anything to the airports, other than the mentioned services that provide a $5-10 discount to students.
We’re a 6.5h drive with no direct flights, so have never had to get to The Indy airport. We have used ride sharing with others in our area.
