Purely based on the money, should I follow a career in business or medicine?

If we're only talking salary here, which would be more lucrative: going into a career in business or going into medicine? I know the salaries vary my question is vague. But just look at it as which career has the potential to offer the most money.

Also, does anyone know what percentage of MBAs from, say, top 10 business schools get hired shortly after graduation? And what their salaries are like.

Medicine. But not primary care.

Business.

top 1% of HS class
Ivy league
3 or 4 internships with F500, BB, etc.
graduate with honors
job in BB IBD or MBB
transit to HF or PE
???
greatness

The doctor route is more like this
Take bio
consider dropping out
end up as a $15 an hour lab assistant

As far as the percentage right after an MBA, usually 90% or more.
Remember though, an MBA comes TWO YEARS after you’ve been at a Bulge Bracket bank or at an elite consulting firm. If you can’t get into one of those, then it comes after about 5 years at an F500, elite boutique etc.
