The ‘Other information’ section in Harvard’s CommonApp application page asks: “list the cities, states and countries where you have lived, with years of residence”. I know that this isn’t a required component of the application, but I am just curious as to what the purpose of this could be. How are they using this information to evaluate an applicant?
to see how much moving could have had an effect on your educational history (if at all), take into account any unusual circumstances (military families, etc)
