Would Calculus 2 be fine? I’m already taking BC and on practice test I score a between a high 4 to medium 5. Also, I’m assuming taking Psychology will yield a higher GPA over Chemistry? So Calc, Psych, Econ 101. Any other classes? I heard some quantitative classes are recommended. Thanks for all your help!
Obviously Econ 101 and Calc are musts because they are prereqs to even apply. Psychology is a solid choice for a grade boost. As long as you put in the effort, you can achieve a 4.0 for Psych 111 or 112. Like I said earlier Calc 2 is one of the most failed classes at UMich. If you get a 5 on the AP exam, you can opt to place into Calc 2. But even then, I’d say it’s a safer bet to be in Calc 1, because it’s going to be a more in depth version of the course anyway. And yes, quantitative classes are useful, but so are extracurriculars. Try to get into a business oriented club, be it in consulting, advertising, finance, IB, etc.
@hailbate I don’t believe the admin directors are teaching profs. They generally aren’t profs at all
