link doesn't work

thanks for the great advises guys!
I have a AMSCO and it's great. I was able to get good scores on tests and quizzes in school with that book... BUT it's just too long.
I'm gonna try REA. I'm just gonna review some topics and take practices tests.
THANKS AGAIN!

any time, sorry about the bad link

yeah thanks to everybody for their advice, I think there's more than enough resources on this thread to help prep people :)

Yeah, I have the Amsco book and it is pretty long compared to the REA book ,however the review in the Amsco book is thorough and covers all the main points in History.

yea... but as the opening post said, how much can you read until the May exam with AMSCO?

REA is good for reading when you're short on time

AMSCO is good for touching on all topics in US history when you have time

Alright, I agree with you all. While in my case, our teacher assigned us many (maybe most) of the AMSCO chapters during spring break (this week, last year), perhaps REA is better when you're short on time. Let me emphasize though that if you DO have both review books, that you ought to at least do the chapter questions after each AMSCO chapter (after reading the corresponding REA text). B/c one thing REA lacks that AMSCO has (among many things) is chapter questions to test for your comprehension. The AMSCO chapter questions are honestly the BEST AP level USH questions of any non-College Board resource. And yes, I recommend using: http://www.historyteacher.net/USQuizMainPage.htm. These quizzes helped me review for the AP exam and helped me score an 800 on the SAT II in USH. If you feel like it'll be impossible to review w/ the AMSCO, then read the REA book, do the AMSCO chapter questions (if you have the book), and quiz yourself on the time periods you have the most trouble on with that website. You should be able to score a 5 if you devote enough time to review. GOOD LUCK!! I hope you all get your 4s and 5s! I know it felt AWESOME to see a 5 next to US History in the AP grade report in July!
