So the focus of one of my essays is going to be a poem by someone else (it's from my English textbook, but it's modern and not well-known) and I feel it's necessary to include the whole poem so it's clear what I'm talking about.
Is there any specific way I have to cite this to avoid plagiarism or can I just put the title and the author's name?

I would use MLA format, or whatever is standard for you school. Wouldn’t hurt.
