<p>Hi,
I was thinking about transferring and was wondering if it would be okay to mention family obligations/religious activities in the common app. There was a tab for both under activites section. Examples of these include</p>
<p>1) caring for/tending to handicapped siblings (something that has obv shaped me and affects my life in a very big way)
2) informal religious studies. obviously very big part of me and also time consuming, however I don't know how detailed to get. I am afraid that there might be bias against me (Although I guess it's just as likely there will bias for). Not sure what to do about this.
3) volunteering for religious group and helping with event organization, etc.</p>
