Putting the wrong date on a cover letter!!!

<p>Is putting 2010 instead of 2011 for the date on a cover letter a big problem? >.<</p>

<p>Depends on how picky the recruiter is. Sometimes they will still reply if the rest of the cover letter is strong. Otherwise if your cover is weak, they won’t even look at the resume.</p>

<p>well, there are two options:

  1. you haven’t sent the letter = change the date, obviously
  2. you already sent the letter = you can’t change the date, oh well</p>

<p>it is not beneficial at all to stress over this</p>

<p>Yeah I got an interview from a company when I submitted the wrong cover letter to them. Seriously. And it was a campus interview with limited selections. I wouldn’t worry about it.</p>
