I’m not going to provide my stats because it’s not really a chance thread. But…Harvard has been a dream of mine for as long as I can remember, and before getting involved with Questbridge through their college prep scholarship, I had planned on applying SCEA to Harvard. But now that I’m getting my app ready for QB NCM, I realize it’s a great opportunity and if it would be foolish to pass it up.
One thing I have come across is that although these top colleges are broadening their socioeconomic diversity through QB, a lot are using it to broaden their URM diversity as well, which is great! But there’s the issue of a lower chance for someone who is caucasian, because these schools are using QB to meet their quota of minorities. This is just what I have read on a lot of different forums, and although it may be untrue, it seems feasible. So some feedback would be lovely, thank you!
