Q's about legacy/interview

I have two questions...

In the admissions process, how much does the AdCom value legacy (sibling legacy- one graduated and one currently enrolled) and the interview? I have read a lot of places that the interview is important, but can it make/break an app.?

Thanks for all of the help!

My father went there and I had a fabulous interview with a family friend last year and didn't get in. The interviews, honestly, mean close to nothing. Legacy may help nudge the committee in your favor, but only comes as a matter of importance after countless other issues.
