As far as I know about UPENN wharton, or any other schools, I heard that you must take science (bio/chem w/ lab), math(calculus 101 or what not), freshmen oriented writing class and so forth for the general requirement.

Does Cornell's hotel school apply the same thing, too??

And also the rolling admission - would that be applied in ED as well as RD?

OMG I cannot wait till this Summer when I am filling out the application for this school....:) Anyway, please answer my qs chrysanthemum! and also many others besides chrysanthemum. Thanks!

During ED, everyone is notified on a specific date in the middle of December on the Cornell website. You can find out all the information about core requirements and electives on the Hotel School website:

thanks Cornell2009Hotelie for your kind response

I checked the curriculum but that doesn't really answer my question - I want to know specifically if the students are taking Calculus and bio/chem or whatever science classes as the "freshmen required courses" or what not.

anyway, many congrats to you Cornell2009Hotelie.....
I hope I can see you later on at Stratler!
(I am currently a junior!)

I'm really not sure how much of a choice we have in the outside courses. I'm hoping my AP tests will get rid of some of those requirements. I do know that every freshman has to take the Freshmen Writing Seminar. Good luck to you! PM me if you need any help. :)
