It seems clear that Columbia only "requires" the SAT with 2 subj.tests or the ACT with writing.
My highest composite ACT score of 35 had an 8 writing score.,my previous score was a 9.
Should I submit my SAT score of 2240 as well. If I do, should I stop there,or also submit my two 730 subject tests scores, which are not as strong, even though they don't seem to be required at all?

All of your scores are strong. Submit your ACT and SAT, and SAT IIs if they’re required. Your SAT IIs are strong though, so don’t be afraid to submit them!

I’d suggest submit the ACT with the 35 and 8 (maybe call the admissions office and ask if you can submit separate scores for your highest writing and highest composite). Your SAT’s are good enough to get in, but are definitely on the lower end of admitted scores.

730’s are fine. I submitted a 720 for Math 2 (which is probably the most curved test) and still got admitted

Any advice on applying to Columbia and other Ivy Leagues/elite universities?

Thanks!

@IvyLeague2020, for sure, was there anything in particular that you want advice for? Or do you just want general advice? You can also PM me with any questions
