My friend’s family owns several apartments in the city and have a much larger income than mine but because they own their own business (real estate) they can hide income a lot easier than my family can. I guess my question is, how in depth does QB look at a family’s assets, living situation, etc. to figure out who is hiding income and who is genuinely in need?
As far as I know, you must supply tax forms and income forms to the universities you apply to. But since your friend has to supply Questbridge info about where his/her parents work, how they get their income, etc. I’d say the chances of him/her successfully hiding income is very low.
Besides, assets and income are only parts of the application. I’d focus on your own application first (as your friend’s application won’t affect your chances) and let your friend deal with anything later on if they aren’t honest.
