@Southern5062 I think I would decide whether or not to use NCM based on how the app looks, if it gives me a chance to be way more expressive than the Common App, UCA, or Coalition app than I will use it.
lol I feel so sorry for next year’s juniors who have to read this entire thread from the beginning.
I did not apply to the prep scholars program. Am I now at a huge disadvantage for the actual finalist competition??
@motherpugger No worries. There are many College Match Finalists that do not participate in College Prep. Many don’t find out about it early enough - so your chances are still great!
@motherpugger Nope, not at all. The first Questbridge Match at my school got matched with Tufts University and she didn’t even know about College Prep Scholars until a couple of my friends and I told her we were applying to the program.
@CMKingOfFl I’m definitely going to apply for NCM! :^) It’s a great opportunity.
To be honest, if I don’t become a College Prep Scholar, I won’t be unhappy, maybe just a little disappointed.
My real passion and drive is towards NCM, so if I get rejected today, I think I’ll be pretty chill at this point. All my anxiety has somewhat turned into indifference lol（Φ ω Φ）

I strongly feel that decisions will come out today because the 30th (which is another date Quest bridge has released applications) falls on a weekend.

They usually post “decisions will be out today” on Facebook every year, but I don’t see anything today.

they should be out soon (idk if today) but soon bc the pomona conference is may 20th. qb states that they have limited travel grants so they should release soon so students can book their travel accommodation asap
