Same I didn’t finish some of the answer responses
My application was very weak as well. I finished my short answers 2 hrs before the deadline. Let’s just see what happens when decisions are released lol.
My response for two of them are the same since it is the same answer is that bad
the stem one and the new concept
THERE ARE ALOT OF MISTAKES ON MY APP
Idk they might find it sketchy that you copy and pasted answers, but I don’t think it’ll harm you… by mistakes do you mean typos.
If you’re only a family of two, what would a reasonable income be for QB (knowing that for a family of four, the income should be about $60k)?
^ Whoops, sorry - think I meant “knowing that the median income last year was about $35k”
Oh my god I read this entire thread and I realized that when I got my extension to submit by the 29th, I only read the “Thursday” part and thought it meant the 22nd. I had a whole extra week to do the application and I didn’t use it rip. On the bright side, I thought my essays were still pretty good and my academic standing is objectively pretty good too haha. Fingers crossed!
LOL. Me and my friend literally made the same mistake.
@Carl7182 I was in the exact same situation, only I wasn’t able to submit my application. I spent too much time on the awards and on procrastinating, and was writing my short answers literally the hour before the application was due. Don’t be too hard on yourself! I was really hating myself too, but am now just accepting that I messed up and am looking forward to the National College Match.
By just going through the Prep Scholar application, you have at least prepared yourself for the National College Match.
@aabr2019 I submitted my application the day before the normal deadline, but I did also receive an extension.
Hey guys, quick question. Once we submit the short essays for summer programs and awards, is there anything else we need to do?
I just got my ACT scores back from the most recent time I took it, and my composite went from a 32 (what I sent to Questbridge) to a 33, and my writing went from a 7/12 to a 10/12. Is there any way I could send these new scores to Questbridge? Would it give me a better chance at getting in?
If you wanted to go to like one of the summer programs that are part of the stem or arts award there are additional requirements that you can see if you log into Questbridge
@highschoolroller no you can’t send additional info (it says it somewhere on their website) but I don’t think a 1 point increase will make that much of a difference anyway.
@chillen Do you know if they usually send the summer programs decisions earlier than the regular CPS decisions, or was the UChicago program a special case? Thanks!
@waves17 My friend was also chosen for the UChicago summer program last year, and the decision came earlier. I am not sure about any of the others, but my guess is that they come out later just because UChicago’s summer programs have a shorter deadline than others.
@highschoolroller , kind of off topic but when did you take that ACT? im just wondering because I have no idea when my ACT is supposed to come back and I took it in my school on march 20 so yeah, thank you!
@Sophie000 I took the ACT on February 27th at my school and received them in the mail a couple days ago. I think it took so long because they waited until the writing scores were done to send them at the same time as the composite score.
@chillen Ok, thanks!
