Questbridge finalists disadvantage (not need-blind)

If I were to be a questbridge finalist (and not do the match program), would it be a disadvantage when I apply to colleges regular through common app later in January? It would let the colleges know that I need financial aid from them.....and take away from the need-blind aspect of it. (?) Would that lower my chances?

I actually had this same concern, but my counselor explained the situation quite well… The schools that are need-blind have the financial resources to give large amounts of financial aid with little to no grants and are often trying to increase their socioeconomic diversity. Besides as my counselor pointed out, if they really wanted to know your financials they could, regardless of if it is morally right for need-blind schools. So yes they will be aware of your income to some extent but I really don’t think it will hurt you.

if a qb applicant becomes a finalist, do any colleges listed in the qb app ( I assume that some colleges are listed in the qb as ones you are interested in ) see the finalist results - that is, do the colleges listed in the qb app see who made the finalist status?

Or is the result of the first phase of the qb app process (the finalists selection) only communicated to the applicants?
