Hey everyone
I just got a message from Pomona saying thanks for submitting an application and they then gave me a link to their check application page and then it says Awaiting several items and then says
Awaiting: Questbridge Scholar Early Decision Agreement
Awaiting: Questbridge Application.
Anybody else who ranked Pomona get this? And could this possibly be an early sign that I am a finalist? If not should I call Pomona’s admissions office because I haven’t personally submitted any application to them.
so I just now read about the policy that says that applying to any other colleges through EA is a violation of the regulations. I have almost completed an app for another college and I really don’t not want to submit it, since I don’t even know if I’m a finalist yet… what’s wrong with applying EA to other schools?

If the school you want to apply to meets any of the following criteria, go ahead and apply!
The criteria are:
-Students may apply to any college or university that requires an early application for eligibility to special scholarships or programs, as long as the admissions decision is non-binding.
-Students may apply to their home-state public college or university with a non-binding early application option, as long as applying to QuestBridge does not violate that college’s policies.
-Students may apply to any college or university with a non-binding rolling admission process.
@YoAdriaaaaan I don’t think you can be matched without submitting that form, and the deadline for it was October 13; I’m really sorry You should still email Questbridge though and see what they say probably

Wait what do you mean we can “change” our ranking. So wait if I want I could log onto questbridge right now and change the order of my ranking?
I was on the fence on whether I wanted to rank brown or princeton over each other. I ended up with Brown 3rd and princeton 4th. But now I think I might prefer princeton over brown. So if we can change our ranking that’d really be great for me.

You can switch around rankings. For example, you COULD change the rankings for Brown and Princeton around. But you would have resubmit the Match Agreement form.
No I can’t see the application status anymore either. I’m hoping it was an accidental leak that indicates we’re finalists since otherwise I don’t think they would even send the information to the ranked schools. That would also explain why we can’t see the application status anymore if they locked it after they found out it leaked early. This is all speculation on very little information of course but I’m just working with what I have. Really hoping I’m right
I guess I’ll wait to see the finalist results before worrying about it anymore lol
