<p>I've received a couple of letters from QuestBridge encouraging me to apply through their National College Match... I know that QuestBridge usually sends these requests to those that are URM's and/or low-income... However I am not a URM (Asian) and although my father is the only one who works, he is a nurse; we live in the NorCal so his salary is pretty big... I still don't understand why QuestBridge keeps sending me mail. I know they probably got my information the PSAT but I never marked being a URM or being of low-income. Should I even bother applying? I feel like I would have no chance considering how much my dad makes.</p>
<p>If you live in an area with a high cost of living they may view you as low-income despite not really being. That being said I know some people get mail each year that don’t really qualify, if you don’t think you are low-income (you don’t have to be a URM) just ignore the mail…</p>
