Question about amount of freshman credits...

Hi everybody, I have a question about the amount of credits I’m going to take my first semester of freshman year. I originally started out with 15 but dropped to 12. This is not because it was too challenging, but because by the time I got to register (due to reasons out of my control I had to attend the last orientation) most of the good classes were filled. I didnt get into the correct math class (I wanted precalc so i could take calc 1 later, but all those classes were filled up). Therefore, I went for a lower level class that it turns out would have been a waste of my time and money. Here’s the thing, at my college, there isnt a flat rate tuition charge for all credits 12+. Instead, we are charged more for every credit hour we take. My first year I will be an out of state student and pay oos tuition rates. For summer semester and my sophomore year I will qualify as a resident. So I thought I might as well save an extra $2k and take one class summer semester to get me back on track for 4 year graduation. And I have a 16-24 hour part time job so I would still be busy. The question I have is, I am looking into possibly transferring colleges like UNC Chapel Hill for junior year. Would them seeing 12 credit hours my fall freshman semester significantly hurt my chances?

I typed from my phone so please excuse any grammar mistakes

No, just be sure to make as many A’s as you can if you’re trying to transfer.
