Does it have a free t-shirt? :D
No, seriously. Now I'm curious. UMD sent me a t-shirt with my acceptance letter, and I mean, how cool is that? Just wondering if ann arbor does the same.

No free t-shirt I'm afraid =P
but as for the rest of the package, I'll let you wonder whats inside. Wouldn't want to ruin the element of surprise ;)

a free t-shirt. I say all colleges should do that.

Central Michigan does the free t-shirt thing. My friends are wearing their central shirts around, knowing they aren't going there. It's pretty funny.

Maybe I'll apply to CMU after all :) ...
Haha, I didn't even want to apply to dearborn, but after this t-shirt, I kinda feel bad not going - I pretty much rank colleges by the free stuff they give me.
Logical rankings:
1- UMA2 - best school
2- EMU - not so great, but quick commute
3- Washtenaw community college- okay until i can transfer, plus quick commute
4- UMD - not that great, and way too far to drive every day.

My rankings:
1- UMD - free tshirt, pen, and highlighter :D
2- Washtenaw- free tote bag, highlighter, and stress ball, but I had to go to their orientation to get it.
3- EMU - free stressball and pen, but had to go to presidential scholarship competition...
4 - UMA2 - didn't get anything from them yet, so i can't really judge.

UMA2 doesn't give you anything but a letter and a brochure.

i wonder how much the yield rate would go up if they offered tshirts. would be an interesting study

Sydney, thats quite a collection you got there lol. Wish I got some free stuff :( What does it say on the dearborn shirt anyways?

Actually, I got a christmas card from MSU, does that count?

I got accepted to both two years ago and didn't get a t-shirt from either! Shirts that say Michigan-Dearborn are kind of rare (you can only find them at the overpriced campus bookstore) so that's pretty cool.

Hey a christmas card from MSU puts them in second place on my list :D

It just has the u of m M on the front with Dearborn under it, then on the back, it says class of 2010 on the back along with another m.

People should start refusing to go to colleges unless they give them free stuff :D ... although, that could backfire.

Yeah, the MSU Christmas Card was pretty nice. Miami Ohio was the only school to acknowledge my birthday, that was nice too.
