I was wondering if i can use some of my AP credit for the 27-point nontechnical requirement (SEAS)? If I can, does that means less required courses?

yes they would count, yes this means fewer courses you need to take.

from SEAS website
“Advanced Placement (AP) credit in appropriate subject areas can be applied toward the 9-point elective nontechnical requirement.” (part of the nontech requirements are required parts of the liberal arts core).
