Ok so I'm taking my AP govt test next week.
UCLA says if I get a 3 or higher, I've met the: "American History and Institutions requirement."

What if I'm not a history major or anything like that. Is this part of GE req or something?!

Edit

so what GE req do i have to fulfill, anyways.

actually, i went to this website: [UCLA General Catalog 2007-08: DEGREE REQUIREMENTS](http://www.registrar.ucla.edu/Catalog/catalog07-08-19.html)

and it says:
Completing a year’s course in American history or American government, or a one-year combination of both, in high school with an average grade of B or better

I got an A, so I’m covered?

u totally remind me of a girl at my school! -_-

Oh good god, you’re like another dawritingmachine. Use your reading skills. And Google skills.

[UCLA ? Division of Undergraduate Education](http://www.college.ucla.edu/ge/)

You could also call up UCLA Admissions or College Academic Counseling and ask there. Fulfilling American History and Institutions frees you from having to take classes which satisfy it.

thanks, i guess. i think i got it.

She does, doesn’t she! I miss dawritingmachine. :(
