Question about Award on Common App

So I won the National History Day South Asia level to go to the nationals held in Washington DC. This basically substitutes as a regional/state round that’s held in the United States since I was competing internationally. I won the competition competing against others from countries all around South Asia, and represented South Asia in Washington DC.

Would this count as an international award, as I won a competition that was between different countries essentially, or a regional award since it substituted the regional/state rounds in the United States?
