Question about California fee waiver

The maximum income to qualify is $16,245 for 2010. I'm thinking of going back to community college in beginning of 2013, anyone know if the income requirement will change?

There's no way I can afford full tuition prices, for the associates degree program I am setting my goals on, with the money I have saved up. I also can't take out any more loans either because I've already taken out the maximum allowed. I know because I already asked and was denied anymore student loans. I already have over 15k student loans I have to pay off someday from a useless bachelor degree I earned before. :(

I'm working full-time right now on minimum wage $9.35/hr since the beginning of this year. From what I calculated, at the end of the year, my annual income before taxes will be slightly above maximum income needed to qualify for BOG fee waiver. So I want to quit my job a month or two before the end of this year so that I can qualify for fee waiver when I go back to school. This should be okay with financial aid office right?

I was just wondering if anybody is familiar with the financial aid system at community colleges in California, and can give me some helpful advice on the matter to help me through this process. Thanks

Can you get a fee waiver if you already have a BA degree?

Yes. As long as the person meets those income requirements set forth by the BOG fee waiver program.

Does anyone know if the BOGFW income requirements is before or after taxes? That would make a huge difference, since I am calculating my annual income before taxes.
