Question about CALS

<p>Hi,
A question about the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at Cornell....since it is a statuatory college with New York...and the official name is New York State College of Agriculute and Life Sciences...what does the diploma look like? I know each college at Cornell gives out its own diploma, so does the CALS diploma even say Cornell? It seems like it would be slightly annoying to go to Cornell and not even get a diploma that says cornell on it. Anyone know?

<p>It is for a contract college. If you look in the south west portion of the diploma, you will see that it is signed by Susan Henry, Dean of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.</p>

<p>Hmm..why doesn't it say the area? Like...don't they usually say "Bachelor of Science in Biology" or whatever. Why does it just say bachelor of science?</p>

Person 2: "I went to the New York State College of Agriculture and Life Sciences."</p>

<p>I'm just wondering..it's not so I can say I went to Cornell and stuff, it's just odd that it doesn't say the major. Like when you apply for a job, sometimes they ask for a copy of your diploma. You can't prove you got a Bachelor's in Biology if all it says is "Bachelor of Science." I'm just wondering..</p>

<p>Some employers ask for a copy of your official transcript, which provides more information than a copy of your diploma. </p>

<p>Good luck with your applications. I think you are worrying about too much...even before you are accepted!</p>
