Hi
I'm a NJ resident Electrical Engineering transfer student and got accepted to Drexel and Rutgers. So i'm stressing with deciding where to go. I would really like to go to Drexel.

Drexel is offering me $13K Dean's Scholarhip. Total tuition + housing is $44,500 for "three co-op" option, according to drexel website.

My family income is ~$45K, and cost is a big issue. After 13K scholarship, I'm left with $31,500 to pay.

1) Is it possible to approximate how much of this can be covered by FAFSA or other grants (if any)?
2) Are there any other grants or scholarships available for out-of-state transfer students? I couldnt find anything on the Drexel grants page.

Thanks! Also, I'm visiting Drexel on Tuesday March 10 to see how's student life.

If you filed your FASFA, you should be hearing from the Fin Aid office fairly soon. There is a link on the Drexel fin aid website that will estimate how much you will get from the FASFA decision. What the FAFSA decision will tell you is the amount of federal work study and what federally subsidized (and unsubsidized) loans you are eligible for. It also tells the college your “EFC”, which is what the FASFA thinks you can pay for your education (which is usually more than you think it should be).

Taking the Expected Direct Costs (room, board and fees), subtracting out your scholarship, the loans/work study, and the amount that FAFSA thinks you can pay, leaves your gap.

Drexel may or may not be able to help fill that gap. If they do, it would probably be under an endowed grant. There are other awards, too.
Review their website: [Drexel Financial Aid - Scholarships and Grants](http://www.drexel.edu/financialaid/sg_ug.asp)

Good luck!
