<p>I am looking into taking AP Chemistry or AP Physics B through CTY online over the summer. I expect to have qualifying PSAT scores, but I noticed that Honors Chem/Physics are prerequisites to take their respective AP courses. I will not have taken either of those classes in school, but I do have a good background in both areas, I'm currently studying a chem textbook for Science Bowl, and Physics B has no prerequisites at my school.</p>
<p>My question is, does CTY require proof that I've taken the honors classes in school? Could I take the AP courses without the prerequisites if I feel prepared enough? If not, is there any way to get around this?</p>
