<p>Hello, I am currently a UCI student trying to apply to dental school for the next 2 years or so. My current overall gpa is 3.4 and science gpa is 3.2. i was wondering is it possible to retake some of the courses that i didnt get a satisfying grade. For example my calc 2 and gen chem 1 courses at a local community college. Would that be an issue for later on when applying to a dental school? and what are my chances? please let me know. thank you.</p>
<p>You might want to contact a dental school to see how they would view that. If you score a letter grade higher that would be good. Score well on your DAT and that will make up for low grades :)] </p>
