question about "Direct Hits".

Guys,
One more question,
Direct Hits both volums solves all problems with vocabulary in Sentence Complition?

Suleyman95-There are 19 sentence completions on each SAT. The DH books will help you with a large number of right answers especially the hardest words, but no list has all the words on every test. There are also reading passage questions that have vocabulary words as answer choices.

The DH books have many examples of TV shows, movies, and music that many teenagers find popular so that it helps them remember the words better. You can see most of these examples on YouTube, so that you will understand the word better and learn some American pop culture before you come to school in the US.

When you take practice tests from the College Board blue book or online course, you should look up every word you don’t know whether it is a right answer or wrong answer because the SAT writers like to repeat words on the SAT.

^
There’s the dictionary if one feels ambitious or insecure about his/her lexicon.

From 19 questions, 10 will be right at least, right?

You cannot guarantee that DH will cover a specific number of questions. It is a good grounding place to start building vocab. Some test takers say, however, that they have not encountered as many words from DH as they expected.

D.H will help me 400 guarantee?

^ I do not understand.

I have just bought Direct Hits vol.1 and vol.2 on amazon. They will arrive in 10 days. What can I do until they come.
Speaking which, my latest Math score is 590.Soon it will be 700.I hope.

If I will learn D.H I can get 400 points on CR in any case?

Yes, but start to read too, to manage the passage-based questions with ease.

Have you taken the online SAT practice test? That should give you a good idea of how you will do on a real SAT. You can write down all the words you don’t know and then compare that to the books/lists you already have and see what works best for you.

No list or book can guarantee how many words will appear on the SAT. Even using a book with 3500 words won’t mean you will know every word. It sounds like you need to get started learning as many words as possible and the other posters have given you some very good advice on how to do that. There are also 2 other threads here with lots of vocabulary words for you to work on.

I can do it, but I’m not sure that my answer is correct, that’s why I prefer to play safe.

problem is in learning words without context is impossible for international student.

Yes I have taken several times during my 4 week preparation. I have been preparing 4,5 weeks and my current result is 450/590/230

^maybe you should consider an SAT optional school. A 230 is the result of random guessing.

yeah and a result of my CR.

what mean optional school?

^

A school that does not require the SAT.

A- I have 2 years to pass SAT and SAT Subject Tets
B- I’m going to get full free education without money in North States.
C- I’m going to enroll bachalaur degree.
D- never give up!

facepalm

good luck studying for the SATs! It’ll be really rough for ya…
