<p>I'm not sure of the exact answers to your questions, however, to be of some assistance, in the interim, I would suggest visiting the JHU forums which currently have some thread discussions regarding deposits and housing, apply.jhu.edu/forums.</p>
<p>When I transferred, it took about a 1.5 - 2 weeks to receive a confirmation letter after I had sent in the deposit; it's a busy time of year, so be patient, or just call the office if you are obsessive like me. :)</p>

<p>It took exactly one week from the time I sent in my enrollment deposit to to recieve the housing info (regular decision). But, I live in Northern VA, only about an hour and 20 minutes from Homewod, so I'm not sure about other parts of the country or international students.</p>
