So, basically during my freshman and sophomore years in high school, I was so immersed in my academics that the only ECs I had were music classes. The only thing that came out of it was that I was a straight-A student. Now I'm a rising junior, and I'm going to do the IB Diploma, and as far as I can tell I'm going to be doing a lot of CAS. So my question is: are the last two years going to matter much to the colleges? I have really good grades, and this year I am definitely going to participate in extracurriculars a lot more, like MUNs and Green Conferences and stuff. Its my dream to make it into UC Berkeley, and I would be crushed if I didn't get in because I was stupid enough to just study for the last two years.

Any advice will be really helpful!
