Question about format for essay.

<p>Ok, so on my common app essay, do I need any sort of header, footer or anything. Do I need to name the essay, or write my name in the corner or do anything like that. Or can I just upload my essay with nothing else on it, as in, no name or heading, and the first words on the page are the words of my essay? </p>

<p>The common app doesn't really give any instructions as to what the proper format is.</p>

<p>I think naming is optional. everything else is unnecessary. click "quick print" and you'll see it inserts your info on the top and bottom for you already</p>
