Question about grammar on applications (lists)

For questions that don't require complete sentences, what is the correct grammatical way to format a list? I'm unsure about this.

Do we start with capitals, use all capitals, or use all lower-case?

ex: creative, adventurous, motivated
or: Creative, Adventurous, Motivated
or..: Creative, adventurous, motivated

Yeah, it probably doesn't matter, but I'm wondering if there's an accepted way to format lists.

I prefer the second.

Personally, I wouldn’t use capital letters or full stops at all if I was just listing words–because a capital letter denotes the beginning of a sentence and there is no sentence here–but that’s a matter of personal preference and style.

I have to say that capitalizing every word looks a bit strange to me, though.

^Yeah, capitalizing every word does look a bit strange.

so probably,

ex: creative, adventurous, motivated

is the best way to do it?
