So I was gonna submit the Hepatitis B form today since it said that the 15th would be the deadline but then i saw this message

"Your Hepatitis B immunization certification has either been submitted or you have met the age requirement. "

I thought that everyone had to get the injection no matter what age? What was the age requirement?

Student health services says this “Effective January 1, 2000, the California State Legislature mandated first-time enrollees at the University of California, who are eighteen years of age or younger, provide proof of immunization against Hepatitis B prior to their enrollment.” on their website. Perhaps if you are 18 years or older, you do not need to provide proof of immunization?
