Hey, I’m a junior this year and I’ve been on HOSA since last year (my school doesn’t allow freshmen to do it). I made ILC for forensics, and I was chosen as our chapter’s junior board representative (basically VP).
I want to apply to be on the state council, but was wondering:
Is being on the HOSA state council seen as a really good extracurricular for top schools?
Is it a good way to show my interest in med or would I be better off doing a different activity like volunteering at a hospital or interning?
Thanks!
