Question about Math Course Sequence

i self-studied Calc BC and i signed up for the exam, but on the day of the exam, i had the worst fever imaginable. i know i will at least get a 4, but to be sure, which subsequent math course would be the best way to really get credit for calc i and calc ii?
i.e.: calc iii, multivariable calculus, etc?
assuming i do well in the subsequent math class.

thank you!

The math department at the college or university you will attend should have a web page describing math placement after AP Calculus. Also check the department of your major at the college or university you will attend.

O_o I don’t think you can credit for Calculus 1 and 2 by passing calc III when the pre-requisites for calc III is the completion of I & II.

i can test into calc iii

If you test into calc 3, then you should get credit for 1&2.

I guess I don’t understand your question. Why don’t you email the math department?

sorry, what I mean is…
I don’t have a recorded calc I or calc ii class on my transcript. at my future university, will they let me progress in math if I have calc iii as a class on my transcript? I am still in high school, if that clarifies anything

AP Calculus BC + Multivariable Calculus at a community college are typically transferable and accepted in fulfillment of math requirements when such courses are required. But you want to check the specific schools and majors you are interested in to be sure.

Yum, short answer: yes they will let you progress in your math degree. Once you have credit for calc 3 you will be eligible for any class that has calc 3 as a prereq.
