Hi I was wondering if I was able to fully pay for a school and not have to apply for financial aid would that improve my chances of getting in? I'm pretty sure for publics this wouldn't be the case but would this be true for privates? Schools I have in mind are NYU(Stern), Northwestern, USC, Vanderbilt, Cornell, Georgetown(business), and Claremont Mckenna. Thanks!

If they have need-aware admissions for transfers, then yes.

A lot of top schools are need-blind (even for transfers), so it wouldn’t really help.

Apply to Brown.
