Question about my Application

On October 17th, I submitted my ED application to Northwestern. Common App confirmed that I had submitted my application and that they had received the payment.
I then submitted:
- High school transcript
- ACT Scores
- Counselor letter of rec + 2 more teacher recs

I haven't received an email from Northwestern confirming that they received my application. I am a little concerned about this. I called NU and they said that I hadn't received a confirmation email because I have probably not submitted a component to my application. They said they would contact me at a later point and tell me what is missing, but as of today I haven't received any notice. I can't figure out what I'm missing...

Can someone tell me what I'm missing? Has anyone received a confirmation email from Northwestern themselves (not the Common App).

Thanks.

I also submitted my writing components through the Common App

To my knowledge, Northwestern does not send out confirmation emails. They only email you if you are missing something, so I would just wait.

As long as everything looks ok on the Common App, you should be fine.

@bamboo17 @AnonMom13 Thanks for your help.

Does anyone know the exact date that Northwestern will be releasing decisions in December?

I just got a conformation email about my application this morning! I applied October 30th for ED, so maybe it’s just by random?

I also got a confirmation email a day or two ago. So they do send them out! @Smasher7‌ The website says December 15, but my confirmation email just says mid-December.
