Question about my Penn state UP Acceptance

<p>i got accepted into Penn state UP today! i was planning on majoring in business/accounting and it indicated that i got into Smeal. However, i was wondering if this is normal for every applicant to get accepted into smeal if they are planning to major in business, or are people selected based off of their performace? i didnt apply for smeal, just the school. </p>

<p>If you applied for a business major that is in Smeal, then any acceptance would be to Smeal.</p>

<p>Yeah, if you chose a business major, than Smeal is where penn state is gonna put you in. You can always change it to a different major if you feel like business is not your major, just call the registrar’s office. Congrats though!</p>
