<p>hi! i was wondering if fordham offers a mixture of merit and need based aid. i am a national merit semifinalist, so if i am offered admission (i applied RD, so its going to be a while before i find out :(), i would qualify for the full tuition scholarship. however, we also happen to be quite poor (lower middle class, but 1 person already attending college), so even the full tuition wouldnt be enough for me to attend (i think my family's EFC will be somewhere around 3-5k :()</p>
<p>i faced a similar situation with another college, but at the interview, i learned that this particular school would be able to give me a combo package (my half-tuition national merit package with need-based). so is there any possibility of getting a need/merit based package at fordham?</p>
